Snowmobile Adventures
We do not rent snowmobiles to non-Savage Sledderz clients. We have the rental snowmobiles specifically for our clients that do not own one.
We have access to a vast riding areas with multiple trailheads to choose from which will based on the trail conditions, weather conditions, and riding level of the participants.
Our Snowmobile Adventures are based out of Craig and Yampa, CO. We have permits with Routt National Forest with access from Moffat County Colorado and Routt County Colorado. We have permits North and South of Hayden so there’s a good chance one of our two mountain ranges got hit with fresh snow out of the last storm system. Long story short we have untouched powder!!!
Our Guided Tours package includes a full day of guiding. The riding will be on groomed trails, open meadows, and/or hillside riding depending on the rider’s skill level.
Our Riding Clinics package includes a full day of instruction from one of our instructors. You will learn new snowmobile riding techniques to help you maneuver and control your 450+ lb machine.
Absolutely you can bring your own snowmobile when booking any one of our Adventures. We offer high performance mountain sleds from SkiDoo for those clients that do not have their own snowmobiles to use.
Our Snowmobile Adventures start at 8:00 a.m. and run until 4:00 p.m. Adjustments can be made inside of those timeframes as needed.
Snowmobile Rentals
We accept all levels or riding abilities. Regardless if this is your first snowmobile ride or you’ve been riding for 3o years, we accommodate our guiding and instruction to meet your desires.
We can provide helmets, shovel, beacon, probe, and avalanche bags upon request. All other outerwear is the responsibility of the customer.

We have access to a vast riding area with multiple trailheads to choose from which will based on the trail conditions, weather conditions, and riding level of the participants. We will determine the meeting location up to 12 hours in advance of your reservation. Please make sure your vehicle is equipped with 4-wheel drive and snow tires to navigate snow packed roads.
If needed, we can provide transportation for your time with us. Yampa Valley Regional Airport is about 5 minutes from Hayden. We can pick you up there, transport you to your lodging location, and get your around town for your Snowmobile Adventures with us.
With guided snowmobile tours and riding clinics that can accommodate a newbie or challenge even the most advanced sledder, we promise you a day you wont forget. Our goal is to help you learn techniques and skills that allow you to finesse that 450 plus pound machine around the hillside!
You must be at least 18 years old to rent one of our SkiDoo Summit mountain snowmobiles.

Things to Take With You
- Your normal riding gear
- Polypropylene or wool long underwear and ski socks (no cotton)
- Comfortable mid-layers (no cotton)
- Waterproof and windproof outer layers
- 2 pairs of goggles
- 2 pairs of warm, waterproof gloves
- Helmets are required and can be provided free of charge
- Warm, waterproof snow boots
- Balaclava or face mask
- Avalanche Gear - Shovel, Beacon, Probe
- Avalanche Bag is recommended but not required
- Water and food/snacks
